Squiggles of dust hang in the air, flash-frozen by tedium; harsh radiation light contrasts with saturated bone walls

In imaginations I punch through to reveal acrylic colors and vinyl favors, dreamworld iced with hazy emerald riverside sitting, guitar-string blisters, endless whispering rivers, barefoot strolling

Cold river trickle melts back to audio/visual hum and rattle, din of useless conversation, acid rain pelting drab orange construction zone barrels, awash in a moat of factory waste water, gravel, self-storage advertisements, retail outlets, shit homes, gray

I have forgotten the sound of my own voice by now
